Textual Analysis of a Double Page Spread.

 Source- Google Images.
First of all, the colours used in this double page spread are very refreshing and solemnly bright. The effective use of these colours, comfort the audience and make them feel light hearted. There are two main columns. They are laid out in a standard form which makes the magazine look formal and easy for the audience to read. The picture text ratio is 60:40. From looking at the double page spread, the image of the well known musician T.I. takes up a whole page. The picture of T.I  almost looks as if the image bleeds out of its frame to make the magazine look real and packed. However, the text is in a small font-size. In addition to this, the title at the top of the page, is in bold writing which takes up half of the page. Informal language is also used; 'T.I.hollers'. The text at the top of the page saying 'Summer Preview' is in  sans serifed font and gives off an vibrant and young aura to the magazine. The title 'Summer Time' is also in the same font and has two dots inbetween the letters 'T' and 'I' promoting the singers name - T.I. This indicates to the reader that the magazine wants you to read the article.

To conclude, this magazine does look professionally done, as a pun has been used on the title "SUMMER T.I.ME" reinforcing who the person in the image is. The page has also been decorated with circles, around the text. To make the article look effective, aswell as appealing to the audience.
